Multi-Faith Room Re-Vamp
Your officers have been working closely with the university to give the multi-faith room a much-needed re-vamp. Whether you're looking for a space to reflect, pray, or meditate, this updated room will offer a more welcoming and comfortable environment for all.
Positive Messaging Campaign
To keep the good vibes rolling on campus, your elected officers have launched a positive messaging campaign! You may have seen posters featuring inspiring quotes from alumni, staff, and students. These messages are all about encouraging a supportive and uplifting students.
New Academic Rep Scheme
The new Academic Rep Scheme is now fully in action! The program ensures your academic concerns are heard and addressed. Plus, the much-anticipated Academic Rep Conference is just around the corner stay tuned for more details on how you can get involved.
Student Spaces
After years of pushing for more student-friendly spaces, your officers’ hard work has paid off. The university has finally begun investing in new student spaces around campus. These areas are designed to make your time on campus more comfortable and enjoyable be sure to check them out as they develop.
Wobble Week
At the start of November, we joined forces with the University’s Wellbeing Services to host a range of events for students. From a Nature Walk to Sip and Paint event, we loved seeing you meet new people and take a break from studying.
Movember
Movember supports men's mental health and suicide prevention and raising vital funds and awareness for prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.
Birkbeck SU is fundraising for this vital foundation with a series of fun and wellbeing-focused events. Please come and get involved, we can't wait to see you!
