Welcome to Wobble Week 2024!

What is Wobble Week?
Wobble Week is an initiative designed to support students during a crucial period when they might be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or uncertain. This usually happens a few weeks into a new term, when the initial excitement of the new academic year has worn off and the reality of coursework and other responsibilities start to set in. The campaign helps students address the "wobble" they often experience by making them aware of the support services and resources available. By participating, students can manage stress and challenges effectively, normalising these feelings and showing that they are common and nothing to be ashamed of. Wobble Week also aims to provide valuable skills and strategies to build resilience against academic and personal challenges, fostering a sense of community among students and reducing feelings of isolation.

Why is Wobble Week Important?
Raise Awareness: Many students are unaware of the full range of support services and resources available to them. Wobble Week shines a spotlight on these resources, making it easier for students to access the help they need.
Normalise Challenges: Feeling overwhelmed or uncertain is a common experience for students. Wobble Week normalises these feelings, showing students that they are not alone and that it’s okay to seek help.
Build Resilience: By participating in Wobble Week activities, students can learn valuable skills and strategies to cope with both academic and personal challenges. This helps build resilience, enabling them to manage stress more effectively.
Foster Community: Wobble Week encourages a sense of belonging and community among students. By connecting with peers and participating in shared activities, students can reduce feelings of isolation and form supportive relationships.
